Right? This is my tenth straight day working and I'm stuck here until 8. Also there's a fair across the street and I smell bacon and fried things that I shouldn't eat but really want to.

Rum & Dr Pepper. Not sure about that...
But I'm always up for a challenge! What kind of rum?

Someone who understands my struggle! Lol. The fair is in West Springfield, MA. It's a huge two-week thing with thousands of exhibits and vendors and about 100,000 visitors per day. There's a fried dough stand about 150 feet away on the other side of the fence. It smells so good.

Why are you working weekends? Are you investment bankers or something?

Yes! We are twins! The struggle is real. Haha OMG! Fried dough? Hot, fried dough? With sugar on top? Whyyyyyyy?!?! Haha. Mmmmmmm. That's gotta be hard to resist. The fair sounds cool. Is it a car thing... Or?

I'm not really rubbing it in..... oh wait yes I am.
Right now I'm playing GTA 5, I am trying to get gold on all the missions. I beat the story line awhile ago but I want gold on everything. Once I am too drunk to drive in that probably some Call of Duty, not sure which one though.

Quite awhile ago one of my friends told me to try switching to Dr Pepper in any drinks that normally have Coke. She promised it would make them better. She was totally right.
Captain Morgan 100 proof.

Yes! Fresh, hot fried dough with powdered sugar AND cinnamon! This is what I'm up against!
The fair is an "everything" kind of thing. Over a hundred food vendors selling every kind of food you can imagine, crafts and products of all kinds from across the country, animal exhibits, elephant rides, concerts (ZZ Top is playing next week, I saw Seether here a couple years ago), dozens of rides, carnival games, horse competitions, even a parade that takes place twice a day. It's seriously massive. Four or five of the auto manufacturers have displays as well.

Ha! You could mix anything with the 100 proof captain and it'd probably work out ok.
I'll try it sometime, but I've got a lot of gin & tonic to get through first...

Maaaaaan... You suck! Lol Drunken CoD makes me so dizzy. Haha I'm sooooo terrible at that game. Everyone had put down shit for me for me to pick up constantly, I kept getting lost and then finally they were like... Can you just not play? Hahahaha

Oh, cinnamon is my kryptonite. Go forth, and eat the fried dough! [drools]
Oooooh, we have those too in L.A. & Orange County. Those are fun! Lots of meats and weird fried foods. Sometimes they get really good performers! ZZ Top? Cool!

Do you live in MA, or just working there right now? I saw something about you being a track driver or something? Is that what it is?

I don't even play online anymore, I got tired of having to listen to 11 year olds try to talk shit. I just keep replaying the games over and over again.

I'm probably going to TL;DR, so here's the short version: Rally is basically about finding the best driving roads you can, shutting them down legally, and competing to see who can drive these roads the fastest. A co-driver rides shotgun in the car reading pace notes (notes that describe every crest and corner in the road) because the driver is actually driving faster than he can see.
Longer version: The co-driver is responsible for ensuring the rally car and driver are where they need to be when they need to be there. The co-driver is responsible for providing direction to each closed road stage and ensuring the car arrives on it's exact minute (get there a minute early or a minute late and you receive a time penalty). The co-driver actually controls the speed of the car on the closed road stages with the way he calls the notes, calling tight corners early or repeating lines when the driver needs to slow down, adjusting notes on the fly to sound less severe when the driver can go faster. It's up to the co-driver to keep track of the schedule, keep track of the competition, keep track of the vehicle and it's performance, and keep track of any updates or bulletins. Basically we run this shit ;)

Whoa! That's super intense and yeah... You run that shit, alright! ;) Seems like a very important role. And extremely technical.
So, I'm assuming you scout and physically drive the track itself prior to the drivers and that's how you get your pace notes? Sounds like a rush, for sure! Thanks for explaining it to me! :) Have a great day... I'm heading to work!
Also: Subaru is all the yes! :D

I'm at work as well (again). The day before the rally starts the driver and I drive the roads together (slowly) and he tells me what he wants the notes to say. That way the notes are custom tailored to his specific driving style.
